Former UFC fighter Felipe Colares died at age 29 after being struck by a bus in Rio de Janeiro, his current fighting promotion confirmed on Tuesday.
Colares had been training before he was hit in the Guaratiba neighborhood of Rio. First responders arrived to treat him, but he died en route to nearby Hospital Rocha Faria in Campo Grande, Colares' coach, Rodrigo Babi, said Tuesday.
