After three days of grueling competition and thousands of words, we have a new National Spelling Bee champion. Fourteen-year-old Karthik Nemmani from McKinney, Texas, beat out more than 500 competitors to take home the $40,000 grand prize Thursday night. It was the largest group of finalists in history.
