Matt Damon and Gary White on worldwide initiative for clean water

Oscar-winner Matt Damon is working to bring clean water to everyone worldwide. In 2009 he co-founded Water.org with longtime water expert and engineer Gary White. Their goal is to help the more than 660 million people without access to safe water. Damon and White join "CBS This Morning" to discuss their latest initiatives on World Water Day.

Tomb of Jesus in Jerusalem restored and unveiled

A newly-restored shrine marking one of Christianity's holiest sites reopened Wednesday in Jerusalem. The shrine at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre commemorates the spot where Christians believe Jesus was buried. Jonathan Vigliotti reports.

Google has grown dramatically in recent years, with revenue soaring to $90 billion in 2016. Leaders restructured under a parent company called Alphabet to encourage more innovation and "moonshot" projects. Alphabet executive chairman Eric Schmidt and fellow executive Jonathan Rosenberg join "CBS This Morning" to discuss the update to their best-selling book, "How Google Works," with a chapter on how Alphabet works.

Rare color footage of President Herbert Hoover and family uncovered

The Herbert Hoover Presidential Library uncovered what's believed to be the earliest color film of the White House. First lady Lou Hoover filmed a collection of home movies, including the president's daily exercise routine on the lawn. They will be available for public viewing next week at the Hoover Museum on Lou Hoover's 143rd birthday.

Nationwide manhunt for ex-teacher after teen disappears

Investigators released new information in the nationwide search for a missing 15-year-old Tennessee girl, Elizabeth Thomas. She was last seen nine days ago. Investigators believe her former teacher, 50-year-old Tad Cummins, convinced Thomas to run away with him. Don Dahler reports.
