Gunmen have kidnapped a German Red Cross nurse in Somalia. Decades of violence have made the country one of the most dangerous places in the world -- especially for humanitarian aid workers. Florida authorities investigate possible alligator attack in pond

Authorities have found a body while searching a Florida retention pond for a teenage boy in a possible alligator attack. A witness told authorities the boy was struggling in the water, saying "It bit me," before going under. Officials couldn't confirm that an alligator was involved.
