Alan Alda reveals Parkinson's disease diagnosis

Legendary actor Alan Alda revealed he has Parkinson's disease. On "CBS This Morning" Tuesday, the award-winning actor said he was diagnosed with the degenerative disease three and a half years ago but has "had full life since then." Alda is best known for his relatable portrayal of Army Capt. "Hawkeye" Pierce in CBS' "M*A*S*H," which connected viewers to life on the front lines of war.

North Korea reportedly building new ballistic missiles

The Washington Post reports that North Korea appears to be building new ballistic missiles. Unnamed U.S. officials tell the Post that spy satellites have detected activity at a factory outside Pyongyang that produced long-range missiles as recently as July 7. That's less than a month after President Trump's summit meeting with leader Kim Jong Un, and Mr. Trump's tweet declaring that North Korea was "no longer" a nuclear threat.

Trump says Koch brothers are a "total joke"

President Trump is lashing out at Charles and David Koch, powerful conservative activists and donors. Over the weekend, about 500 Koch donors gathered for a seminar. Charles Koch reportedly slammed Mr. Trump's trade policies and said they could trigger a recession. Koch reportedly also said he would back Democrats if they aligned with his values.

Paramedics accused of racism and failing to check woman's vitals

Four Florida paramedics, accused of refusing to care for a patient and racially profiling her, will face a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday. The Hillsborough County fire responders allegedly failed to check Crystle Galloway's vital signs. She died at the hospital after her mother drove her there herself. Jericka Duncan reports.

At least 8 states sue to block release of 3D-printed gun blueprint

More than two dozen states are making a last-ditch effort to block the release of blueprints for 3D-printed guns. At least eight states and the District of Columbia are suing the Trump administration for allowing a Texas company to resume distribution of the blueprints as early as Wednesday.
