Minneapolis community outraged after officers cleared in black man's killing

The family of Thurman Blevins, a black man killed by Minneapolis police, is demanding justice after prosecutors decided not to charge the two officers who shot him. Police say bodycam video from last month shows Blevins had a gun and refused orders to stop and show his hands. But Blevins' family and supporters say he didn't pose a threat. Race to save towns near Northern California wildfires

Northern California remains under siege as fast-moving wildfires continue to threaten more than 14,000 buildings. Among the most active are the so-called Mendocino Complex fires, two different ones near each other about 90 miles north of San Francisco. One reportedly got within a mile of the city of Lakeport Monday before firefighters were able to push it back. Mireya Villarreal reports.



Paul Manafort trial begins today

President Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort will be in court on Tuesday, marking a new phase in special counsel Robert Mueller's 14-month Russia investigation. Keith King of Durham cited an obscure state law known as "alienation of affection," which exists in only a few states. His attorney said his wife's affair hit the revenue of King's company. His wife worked for that company.
