A California sheriff is blaming immigration laws for the murder of a police officer. Gustavo Perez Arriaga, who was in the country illegally, was arrested Friday following a two-day manhunt. He's accused of killing a police officer during a DUI stop. Mireya Villarreal reports.

Egyptian security forces announced Saturday morning that they killed 40 suspected militants following a roadside bomb blast that left four people dead. Three tourists from Vietnam and an Egyptian guide were killed and at least 10 others were injured Friday when the explosion hit their tour bus near Egypt’s Giza pyramids. Barry Petersen reports.
