Plane reportedly carrying Pink's crew crash lands in Denmark

Danish media are reporting that a small aircraft carrying the management team for the American singer Pink crash landed and burst into flames in Denmark. No one was hurt. Danish police on Tuesday confirmed that the incident took place Monday night, though they did not mention Pink by name. Danish media reported Pink was not on the flight.

President Trump will head to El Paso, Texas, on Wednesday, after 22 people were killed this weekend in a mass shooting at a Walmart. At least seven of those killed were Mexican citizens. Police say the alleged gunman posted a racist manifesto online before the shooting, in which he denounced the growing Hispanic population in Texas. CBS News spoke with one immigrant who said she feels the president's language, which is echoed in the manifesto, enables violence like this.

Common traits like childhood trauma, behavioral changes link mass shooters

The Violence Project has studied every U.S. mass shooting since 1966. Its database, which is not publicly available yet, includes 160 mass shooters who have killed four or more people in a public place. Nearly all were male and the average age was 34-years-old. The study found most shooters shared common traits, like experiencing childhood trauma. The researchers also learned these shootings are “socially contagious.” Psychologist Jillian Peterson, co-founder of The Violence Project, joined “CBS This Morning” to discuss the findings.
