The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) published a list of U.S. military personnel to be targeted by its members and sympathizers; when certain Chrysler vehicles were found to have a defect that could lead to exploding gas tanks, the automaker came up with a solution: a tow hitch mounted to the back. The NHTSA tested the fix and found it to increase safety.
