Pfizer requests FDA authorization for COVID vaccine for kids under 5 years old

Pfizer is asking the Food and Drug Administration for emergency use authorization of a low dose of its COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 6 month to 4 years old. if approved, children could start getting the two-dose regimen by early March.
