Abandoned apartment catches fire in Kato Paphos

A fire broke out in a abandoned apartment in the Kato Paphos area at 10.40pm on Friday, causing extensive damage to its bedroom and veranda, the fire department said on Saturday.

The fire was extinguished shortly after police and the fire department arrived at the scene. Nobody was harmed in the incident.

Investigations into the case were resumed on Saturday morning and are ongoing.
