Fire damages electric bus motor in Paphos

A fire broke out in the motor area of an electric bus in Paphos in the early hours of Thursday, causing damage to the motor.

The fire service said the bus was parked at a bus station in the Tombs of the Kings area.

Two fire engines were sent to put out the fire, which was placed under control at 1.08am.

Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the fire, which the fire service believes is an electrical fault.
