2m+/hr for everyone enjoying OSRS
Could be revived to match, although it did not do rewards and it could have. 'd have liked to see implementation of dungeons around the world as a reward, there were some resource dungeons but many were pretty forgettable. Could scrap all the weapons and armour imo (or create them temporary fans for inside dung - eg buy an OP weapon which lasts x flooring ). Would love to see stuff in it, possibly along the lines of Binding of Isaac, so theres an rng element you can struggle on several runs with. But once with this run the rng gods bless you in a while, with the perfect combos and you simply decimate everything in the path.
I thought dungeoneering don't really see how it is a fantastic match for OSRS contemplating all of the similar content and was one of the strangest additions to RS2. It was and never felt a chore. It was really a large mini game that had through leveling the ability, unlockable content. Although I thought the miniature game element of it made it less of a grinding ability. You are put into a dungeon each time using a different design and supervisors. You were not relied on by your functionality but everybody else in your team and how well they worked. I guess that it really didn't seem like a skill made it more pleasurable and grindy to me personally.
Way back in the afternoon I leveled my dungeoneering together with my clan. It did feel like a grind, before EoC came out, without even attempting, and I ended up using 90. Exactly. My brother did nothing but dungeoneering as it came out before he hit 120. Didn't look like grinding a skill at all an experienced group of gamers playing a mini sport that is complex.
Once the dev blog was posted there were literally only posts whining about it. The results were more in favour of death mechanisms than reddit could have left it out to be. Rather, there were plenty of claims saying that anyone who advocated actual death mechanics only did so because they'd already learnt all of the bosses etc and were some elite minority. It could have been fascinating if they ran that survey with a substitute for"Make no changes to death mechanics," it would have been interesting to learn how large that band had been, rather than making every choice implying that death changes as a whole were unavoidable.
In fact, any post that did whine about it was flooded with players coming back to defend the passing mechanisms. And of course, there were too numerous memes about players being fearful to pay gold or something for perishing, and trying to downplay the impact that it might have as a golden sink to gamers. All because Vorkath and Zulrah"shit outside" 2m+/hr for everyone enjoying OSRS. That is absurd because not everybody is in equipment or perhaps remotely at that point in RuneScape lol.
