Swivel chairs by Vipp

Dezeen Showroom: Danish homeware brand Vipp has added to its family of Swivel chairs, which have a classic modernist aesthetic that combines aluminium and leather.

The Swivel series balances timeless design and everyday functionality, according to Vipp, with compact and visually lightweight silhouettes that sit as easily within a home office as a conference room.

The new addition, the Vipp453+, adds ergonomic adaptability to the original design, with a height-adjustable seat mechanism and a five-legged base on castors, making it more comfortable for a wider range of users.

The chair retains the larger backrest and additional padding of the Vipp453, an evolution of the more slimline original chair, the Vipp 452.

"The Vipp Swivel series is more than seating — it is a considered response to the evolving needs of contemporary living and working," said Vipp. "Each chair is built to last, both in design expression and in daily use."

The Vipp swivel series pairs its aluminium frame with seats upholstered in aniline leather. A few textile options are also available.
