Dave Gold, 69, a San Jose soccer coach, on fatally shooting Ronald Morriss in his home in June. He said Morriss was drinking and attacked him after being asked to leave. Prosecutors found evidence insufficient to disprove Gold’s self-defense claim and declined to file charges.
