Kejriwal bail plea: Court seeks ED's response by June 1 in money laundering probe

Delhi Court seeks Enforcement Directorate's response on Arvind Kejriwal's 'regular' bail plea by June 1. The Chief Minister filed for bail in a money laundering case related to an alleged excise scam. Currently on interim bail till June 1, granted by the Supreme Court, Kejriwal awaits further legal proceedings.

This means would be a 34 per cent jump between the two periods - from 154 towers until 2023 to 207 towers between 2024-2030. Sterlite Power announced the successful funding of Rs 1,373 crore for its Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited project from Power Finance Corporation. Sterlite Power aims to build a green energy corridor. Acquired in November 2023, the project will operate on a BOOT basis for 35 years. This initiative will interconnect the Neemrana and Kotputli substations and facilitate a LILO to integrate the Neemrana II substation with Gurugram and Sohna substations.

JPMorgan to grow India headcount by 5%-7% for next few years, senior exec says

According to a senior executive, JPMorgan Chase intends to increase its workforce in India by 5%-7% annually over the coming years. This move comes as the Wall Street giant intensifies its focus on one of the most competitive talent markets worldwide to bolster its support for international operations. Currently, the New York-based bank employs approximately 55,000 individuals across five Indian cities, constituting about a fifth of its global workforce.
