Solar storm explosion more powerful than 20 atomic bombs took place on Earth’s doorstep

A MAGNETIC explosion took place on Earth’s doorstep closer than anything ever experienced before and packed so much energy it was equivalent to more than 10 of the US’s largest nuclear bombs, scientists have revealed.
