Iran crisis: Military chief gunned down just weeks after Qassem Soleimani assassination

MASKED gunmen shot dead a commander of Iran’s hardline Basij militia yesterday and it has emerged the military chief was an ally of Qassem Soleimani, the senior Revolutionary Guards commander who was killed in a US drone strike at the beginning of the month.
