Coronavirus threat: France urged to close Italy border as virus ‘spins out of control'

FRENCH opposition leader Marine Le Pen warned France should shut its border with Italy due to the rapid flare-up of coronavirus cases there over the weekend. Asked whether border checks between the two neighbours should be temporarily restored in light of the escalating health crisis, she said on: "Yes, it will be necessary if the epidemic spirals out of control in Italy."
