UK calls for army of 250k volunteers to support NHS as thousands of retired doctors return

THE British Government has launched an appeal for an army of 250,000 volunteers to step up to help the most vulnerable cope during the coronavirus outbreak after it emerged more than 11,000 former NHS staff left retirement to offer their support.
