UK weather forecast: 'Hot Mediterranean air' hits as heatwave to return -Long-range charts

THE UK is set for a return of "similar weather to that just seen through May" with a risk of "hot Mediterranean air" sweeping northwards towards the end of the month, according to the latest long-range weather forecast.
