Royal snub: War hero Captain Tom rejected Queen's heartfelt offer after being knighted

QUEEN ELIZABETH II left self-isolation to knight Captain Tom Moore in the grounds of Windsor Castle after he raised more than £30million for NHS charities during the coronavirus pandemic but he declined a huge offer from the Queen.
