Spending chaos of topsy-turvy Tories, says ANN WIDDECOMBE

ONE OF the most topsy-turvy features of recent politics is that the Tories have become the party of high spending. Even before the current coronavirus crisis we had a budget which scattered money about like confetti. The same approach is now evident in the response to the effects of lockdown with large but poorly targeted splashing of taxpayers' cash.
