State pension UK: Winter Fuel Payment qualifying week starts today - eligibility explained

STATE pension claimants may be able to receive a Winter Fuel Payment of between £100 and £300 to help pay for heating bills. To be eligible for this payment, a person must adhere to a "qualifying week" rule which starts from today.
