‘Explain yourself’ National Trust to tell MPs why Churchill and Wordsworth ‘besmirched’

THE DIRECTOR general of the National Trust Hilary McGrady has insisted that the organisation has not insulted Churchill and other figures in a recent report which linked almost 100 of its properties to the slave trade and colonialism.
