Yorkshire Ripper victim vows 'he won't destroy me' 40 years after he tried to kill her

A FORGOTTEN victim of the Yorkshire Ripper has vowed the killer will never destroy her life. Forty years ago today, Mo Lea, then an art student in Leeds, was smashed over the head with a hammer by Peter Sutcliffe and stabbed with a screwdriver before the killer was spotted by a passing couple and ran off.
