Shoppers flood supermarkets to stockpile ahead of second lockdown

SHOPS were swamped by bulk buyers yesterday ahead of the second lockdown. Supermarket shelves were emptied of loo roll, pasta and tinned foods as people prepare to hunker down at home for the next month.
