I visited a small European city with an amphitheatre better than Rome—it’s 24C in October

Surrounded by ancient Roman ruins and pretty streets, Pula in Croatia is a hidden gem. Standing within the amphitheatre, it was hard to believe I wasn't exploring Rome, Italy.
