Talking Alperen Sengun’s season now with @MotorCityHoops. What have we thought of his year as a whole now that he’s out for a real period of time?

More on this storyline
David Hardisty: Being that it’s likely over, Ime Udoka was asked about Alperen Sengun’s season as a whole. “He’s not even close to reaching his ceiling and he still has a ways to go, but he’s had a great year,” said Udoka. “His future is bright, basically. All the things that we really challenged him with, he kind of stepped up to the plate there and improved in certain areas.” pic.twitter.com/kUa8DaKJhU -via Twitter @clutchfans / March 14, 2024
An update on Rockets center Alperen Şengün: League sources tell me he suffered a Grade 3 right ankle sprain and bone bruise in his right knee Sunday. Şengün has avoided major injury and surgery, although he will miss several weeks and is likely done for the regular season as the Rockets (30-35) fight to firmly get back into the Play-In picture. They enter Wednesday 4.5 games behind the Warriors for the 10th and final spot. -via The Athletic / March 13, 2024
David Hardisty: Ime Udoka says the Rockets will miss the low post scoring of Alperen Sengun, but defensively… “I think it gives us more options without Alpi there,” said Udoka. “That’s the only benefit, I would say, that we can get to more switching and more aggressive stuff.” pic.twitter.com/AMsNIpkgEb -via Twitter @clutchfans / March 13, 2024
