Severe storms are likely today across southeastern Oklahoma. Large hail, damaging winds, flooding and tornadoes will be possible. Cooler air arrives Friday with isolated showers. Highs will climb close to average this weekend in the is 60s. Cooler early next week.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A cold front will move across the state today, sparking showers and storms across southeastern Oklahoma. Storms could fire as early as late morning in south central Oklahoma and continue to develop northeast along the cold front.

Very large hail and flooding will the main threats. Up to baseball size hail, 60 to 80 mph winds and tornadoes will be possible.

Temperatures will range from the 50s and 60s north to the 80s south, ahead of the front. Lows will drop to the mid 40s tonight with a strong north wind. Highs will be much cooler but seasonal Friday, in the low 60s. Isolated showers are possible.

Highs will climb to the mid 60s this weekend. Lows will drop to near the freezing mark Monday morning.

Monday will be cooler in the upper 50s. Temperatures jump to the 70s for the start of spring on Tuesday. Our next system will bring showers and storms Wednesday night through early Thursday.
