One person has been arrested after a traffic stop led to a drug bust in Pottawatomie County.

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) - One person has been arrested after a traffic stop led to a drug bust in Pottawatomie County.

According to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Joepsh Dean conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that did not signal when switching lanes on Friday, March 15.

During the stop, Deputy Dean was given permission to search the car where he found multiple packages of methamphetamine weighing in at 11 pounds.

Officials say the driver, Andrew Spore, was taken into custody for aggravated drug trafficking and was given a $75,000 bond.

"Our Office is staying dedicated to stopping the trafficking of narcotics into our County." said the Pott. Co. Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information regarding drug distribution or trafficking is asked to contact the Pott. Co. Sheriff's Office or the District Attorney's Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
