Instagram posts could lead police to more answers in a 2018 homicide case that left a man dead in front of a Southeast Oklahoma City home.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Instagram posts could lead police to more answers in a 2018 homicide case that left a man dead in front of a southeast Oklahoma City home.

The case dates back to October 26, 2018, when 42-year-old Stephen Robertson was found shot to death outside a home near 4700 Clendon Way. The home sits near Southeast 48th Place and Clendon Way.

They believe that the shooters fired at Robertson, hit him, and then ran off. Documents say two male suspects were seen on several neighborhood cameras running back to 3700 48th Place and getting in a vehicle to escape.

"I've lived in this neighborhood so long, I wish we could have had some answers sooner," said Manley Mahaffey, who lives a few houses down from where Robertson was killed. He said that he was there when the gunshots went off.

"I heard them from inside my house. I came outside when I saw the cops pull up," said Mahaffey.

For years there have been no suspects arrested and there still aren't. But recent court documents show that investigators have searched the social media accounts of two men who might be connected somehow according to the documents.

In 2020, DNA evidence from a firearm sight found on the scene matched to DNA on file with the Oklahoma County Court System. That DNA was allegedly Aaron Henry's.

Documents allege that Aaron posted several times on Instagram around the time of the shooting allegedly bragging about the crime itself. One post seemed to reference the crime and showed a picture of the Henrys, a pistol, and a caption that read, "been sliding lately."

Aaron also posted a music video on YouTube to his channel that showed him holding what officials said was a loaded AR-15. Aaron is a felon and is not allowed to have a firearm.

There is a warrant for his arrest due to the video posted.

The video also seemed to be recorded a few blocks away from where Robertson was shot and killed. In the video, Aaron raps, "We only three blocks away, and them n#$%s still ain't split back. You n#$%s is tattletales, we pulled up to the 48th and started ringin' bells."

As for Aaron, he has a warrant out of Oklahoma County for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The affidavit states that Aaron's brother Zaccheaus was seen in the Instagram post,. Officials searched both of the men's Instagram accounts for the investigation.

As of last check Aaron was taken from the Tarrant, Texas county jail and handed over to the U.S. Marshalls in January.

No arrests have been made yet, but neighbors told KFOR that they hope some are.

"It has taken over five years? I really wish this could have been solved sooner," said Mahaffey. "But I'm happy that some answers are coming down."
