One dead after shooting overnight Saturday in NE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A woman is dead following a shooting that happened overnight Saturday in Northeast Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, officers responded to the area around North Missouri Avenue and Northeast 7th Street at around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found that one woman had been shot in the chest. She was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead shortly after.

There is no suspect information at this time, and the scene is under further investigation.
