Police arrest a man in connection to a stabbing in Edmond
EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) — Edmond Police say 47-year-old David Thomas stabbed the manager at CityLink Transfer Station off W 3rd Street and S Broadway on Friday.
The call came in early Friday morning, requesting an officer to assist in getting a man off a bus after the manager originally asked him to.

"He looks like he's urinated on himself. He got on our bus. I asked him to step off the bus so I could speak to him."
Before he could continue giving information, things escalated.

"He just assaulted me. He stabbed me with a knife...get back! I'm bleeding really bad in the lower abdomen. I'm bleeding heavily."
Police say his staff members were able to apply pressure to the injured area.
"His staff applied pressure to the wound and he stayed on the phone with our dispatch until our officer and fire arrived. He was treated there on the scene. He was alert and conscious the whole time," Emily Ward, Edmond police, said.
Police say the victim stayed remarkably calm and was able to provide details necessary to finding the accused attacker.

"I am in the transfer center between the last two busses laying down. He's a white man, has sunglasses, a black coat on with a hood. He's walking on 3rd street towards Broadway."
"It's just right here down the street. We have lots of officers nearby as well as detectives. The man was quickly apprehended right outside this barbershop down here," Ward said.
