Age-progressed photo released of missing 5-year-old last seen in 2022
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A photo of a missing child last seen in April 2022 has been modified to show what she may look like at her current age in 2025.
The Oklahoma City Police Department on Wednesday confirmed that two people have been arrested in connection with a missing and endangered five-year-old who was last seen in April 2022.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) had discovered that London Kerr, who would be 5 years old as of 2025, had been missing from a southeast Oklahoma City apartment complex.
Authorities say that Kerr's primary caregivers, 39-year-old Ashley Rowland and 40-year-old Joshua Denton, are currently in custody on complaints related to child physical and sexual abuse.
“There’s lack of merit, some of the stories that haven’t panned out by those who we believe may have some more information than what they’re coming forward with, so all of that makes it quite a complex case,” said Sgt. Dillion Quirk, Oklahoma City Police Department.
Investigators, who have limited credible information currently, even after the arrest of her two caregivers, are actively searching for London.
A photo created by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children shows what London may look like now as a 5-year-old.
News 4 first reported that Ashley Rowland was previously arrested in 2024, and according to court documents, she had told Moore Police that she gave her daughter, London Kerr, who was 2 years old at the time, to a man named Carlos. Rowland bonded out of jail just several days after being arrested.
Court documents also provided details that Rowland and Denton were in a relationship and that Denton had been accused of abusing London in the past, which included pouring hot sauce into her eyes and shooting her with a BB gun.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of London is asked to contact either the Oklahoma City Police Department Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
