Two other vehicles were involved in the crash, which are currently under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
I arrived at the scene around 11:40 p.m. last night and was later joined by GHS Principal Dusty Throckmorton and Operations Director Cody Thompson. We are extremely thankful that the accident wasn’t worse, given how the scene appeared. We expect everyone to make a full recovery. I want to thank the first responders on the scene for their outstanding work, including the Coyle Fire Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Payne County Sheriff’s Office, Lifenet from Stillwater, and the Guthrie Fire Department EMS. They were professional and compassionate in all aspects of rendering aid. This was truly close to your worst nightmare.
