Police respond to shooting at an OSU residential hall
STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) - Oklahoma State University Police are investigating a shooting at Owen McElroy outside a residential hall.
Officials say there is not an ongoing threat.
The incident happened at Carreker Hall around 3:40 a.m.
At least three victims were taken to the hospital.
The two victims who were taken to the Oklahoma University Medical Center had surgery and are in stable condition.
The other victim had been dropped off at Stillwater Medical Center and suffered gunshot wounds.

"When we do have something like this, everybody responds within minutes. You know, we do a wonderful job. I wish it were a perfect world, but it's not. But we are ready and prepared when stuff does happen. It's the policy of our. You know, there again, you're not supposed to have a firearm on campus. Um, but, you know, it goes to the same people who are going to break the law, have firearms." Says The Chief of The Oklahoma State University Police Department, Michael Beckner.
There is no suspect information at this time.
