OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Day 1 of 168 Days of Remembrance began on Monday, leading up to the 31st Anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
Many survivors and their families were in attendance on Monday afternoon for a luncheon. Janet Beck, who was on the first floor of the Murrah Building inside the Social Security Administration Offices, the morning of the bombing, was also in attendance.
The Memorial Museum also kicked off the 30 for 30 challenge on Monday. The goal is to raise $30,000 over the span of 30 hours, until 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The money will be used to help fund daily operations at the Museum.
