Stepfather charged with child abuse dies after recently pronounced brain-dead from suicide attempt

George Cole Jr., a man who faced multiple child abuse and neglect charges after his stepson went missing for over a week, has died after he was pronounced brain-dead following a suicide attempt while in jail.
