Record layer of seaweed moves toward Cancun and other Caribbean resorts

According to scientists from the University of South Florida, a carpet of 38 million metric tons of floating seaweed, sargussum, is coating the surface of the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to the Gulf of Mexico.
