David Trosclair memorial scholarships celebrates 12 years of giving back to students at UL Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The David Trosclair Memorial Scholarship Fund is celebrating its 12th anniversary vacationing for scholarships with a kickoff event Wednesday

Carol Trosclair and UL Lafayette's School of Kinesiology are raising money to fund her son’s Memorial UL Kinesiology Scholarships.

David accidentally passed away while a senior majoring in Kinesiology at UL Lafayette and was the top student out of a 1,000 majors - so UL established his Memorial Scholarship to acknowledge his academic achievements and to carry on his legacy – an honor - but it is up to Carol to fund it! 

To this end, Carol & UL Lafayette Kinesiology are having a “Vacationing for Scholarships” fundraiser to benefit UL Lafayette Kinesiology Scholarships - with a FREE twist.

To thank you for your $10 donation to the UL Lafayette Foundation for supporting her son’s Scholarship, every donation includes a "FREE GIFT."

For the entire month of September, tickets are redeemable at Todd’s Car Wash for a FREE $25 Super Works Wash - OR - at Judice Inn for a FREE hamburger or cheeseburger.

For the entire month of October, tickets are redeemable at Tropical Smoothie (all locations) for a FREE flat bread - OR - at Reve Coffee Roasters (both locations) for a FREE drip coffee or tea and a pastry of your choice.

For the entire month of November, tickets are redeemable at Roly Poly for a FREE 6" wrap - OR - at Great Harvest Bread for a FREE loaf of bread of your choice. These tickets are sold individually, or by the book (10 Tickets for $100).
