A warmer and stormy work week for Acadiana

Warmer and active weather is expected through much of this work week but Monday morning is chilly and breezy in Acadiana with temperatures in the 40s. Highs today will reach near 70° along with breezy conditions. Rain chances increase to 50% as scattered showers and storms are possible late in the afternoon and throughout the evening hours. Much milder conditions are expected tonight with lows in the 60s. Each day will see highs in the lower 70s this week.
A heavy rain event is possible Wednesday with widespread showers and storms in our area. There will be a threat of flash flooding, as well as, a risk of severe weather.
