About 300 Entergy customers near Opelousas are without electric power this morning, according to the utility.
UPDATE, 11:30 a.m.: According to the outage map on the Entergy website, power has been restored in the area of this morning's outage.
ORIGINAL STORY: OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) -- About 300 Entergy customers near Opelousas are without electric power this morning, according to the utility.
The outage began at 3:49 a.m. today and is estimated to last until noon, according to Entergy's outage map. No reason for the outage was released.
The outage is located on either side of I-49 between Harry Guilbeau Road and Judson Walsh Drive.
