Three juveniles apprehended after chase in Pointe Coupee Parish
POINTE COUPEE PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) - A pursuit in Pointe Coupee Parish ended with three juveniles in custody on Sunday, Jan. 28.
The Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office learned about a theft around 7:05 a.m. via the Krotz Springs Police Department. PCPSO said they were told what the suspect vehicle looked like and that it "was allegedly traveling east on US 190 into Pointe Coupee."
After finding the vehicle, law enforcement was reportedly led on a short chase, according to the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff's Office.
The three juveniles who were in the vehicle attempted to run away but were apprehended without incident, PCPSO said.
