A man was arrested in Rapides Parish in connection to a criminal sexual conduct investigation involving juveniles, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A man was arrested in Rapides Parish in connection to a criminal sexual conduct investigation involving juveniles, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.

Deputies with RPSO said they responded to a report of criminal sexual misconduct involving a juvenile on Jan 21. An initial report was taken and Special Victims Unit Detectives responded to conduct their investigation.

SVU Detectives said they were able to quickly identify Jay Allen Hill, 32, of Boyce, as the suspect. Through the investigation, which they said included interviews of the victim through the Rapides Advocacy Center, probable cause was established for the original complaint as well as additional allegations and complaints with an additional victim identified.

Officials said two separate warrants were obtained for Hill's arrest in reference to the combined following charges:

• Contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile (1 count)
• Indecent behavior with a juvenile (8 counts)
• 2^nd degree sexual battery (2 counts)
• 1^st degree rape (3 counts)

On Feb. 2, authorities said Hill was located and taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. He remains in jail at this time being held on a $1,001,500.
