Louisiana Democratic Party HQ vandalized with 'murderers' graffiti
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana Democratic Party headquarters announced the property was vandalized on Friday.
According to a social media post, the political group shared a photo of the parking lot spray-painted with the word "murderers."
Louisiana Democrats also added to the post, "We know the climate is tense, but we must choose a different path. We'll stay united and strong together."
Although the two events are not directly connected, this incident comes after the assassination of political advocate Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
The group posted to social media after the assassination, saying, "Political violence is never acceptable in any form. Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie Kirk and his family."
A suspect accused of killing Kirk, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, is in police custody.
