Two Houma men arrested in connection with 2015 murder cold case
TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office announced that two Houma men have been arrested in connection with the 2015 murder of Pamela Johnson, of Country Drive in Bourg, who was 56 years old at the time of her death.
Authorities have arrested Charles Johnson, 70, and Shannon Robinson, 43, as part of the investigation.
Officials said on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office learned of the discovery of two young girls found in the area of Wade Street in Houma by the Houma Police Department.
Officials determined that the juveniles had been kidnapped by an unknown male from their residence in Bourg, after the suspect shot their aunt on Monday night. Authorities also learned that the girls were located near a vehicle registered to Pamela. This discovery led officials to respond to Johnson’s residence, where they located her deceased body.
Through the investigation officials determined that Pamela had suffered a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Recently, new evidence surfaced linking the two Houma men to the murder.
Yesterday, officials arrested Charles at his residence, charging him with first-degree murder and solicitation for murder. A short time later, officials located and arrested Robinson for first-degree murder, solicitation for murder and aggravated kidnapping.
Both men were booked into a Terrebonne Parish jail, where they are being held without bond
Authorities said the case remains an active and ongoing investigation, with the possibility of additional arrests.
