Acadiana Eats Kitchen: Olde Tyme Grocery
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Acadiana Eats Kitchen hits the road to visit Olde Tyme Grocery in Lafayette.
Located at 218 W St. Mary Blvd., Olde Tyme Grocery has been serving classic Acadiana-styled po-boys since 1982. Olde Tyme serves of variety of specialty flavors from fried seafood to savory meats stuffed in French bread.
Today on Acadiana Eats Kitchen, whipped up their classic fried shrimp po-boy that included gulf shrimp, mayo, lettuce, ketchup, tomatoes and fluffy French bread.
For the first time, Olde Tyme Grocery will be participating in the Acadiana Eats Festival on Nov. 1 Join the Acadiana Eats team, Olde Tyme Grocery and over 25 food vendors to help celebrate Southern Louisiana’s food culture.
