New Iberia man charged with armed robbery and home invasion; $400k bond

JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A New Iberia man is facing charges dealing with armed robbery and home invasion, police said.
Police arrested and charged Quentin Thompson Jr., 21 of New Iberia with armed robbery, armed robbery use of a firearm and count of home invasion last Thursday.
Police said they investigated an armed robbery in the 1800 block of St Charles Street that occurred Sept. 5 and identified Thompson as a suspect.
Last Thursday, Thompson was located and arrested in the 400 block of Ira Street then booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on Sunday, police said.
Thompson is now being held on a $400,000 bond.
