Lauren Domingue's Big Brother journey ends in dramatic double eviction
(KLFY) -- In last night's thrilling two hour episode of Big Brother, Lafayette native Lauren Domingue got evicted on a 2-1 vote.
The episode began with Domingue facing the block to eviction alongside houseguests, Keanu Soto and Kelley Jorgensen. In the BB Blockbuster, which was a last stitch effort to secure her safety, Domingue came out victorious against her "comp beast" houseguests.
Domingue was able to participate in voting against Soto during the first live vote and eviction. Unfortunately, despite her efforts and loyalty her ally, Jorgensen was evicted with a 3-2 vote.
In the second half of the hour, host Julie Chen Moonves and the twisted Mastermind revealed to the houseguests that the BB Blockbuster will no longer part of the rest of the season and they will experience a double eviction. In a double eviction, houseguests will have to experience a whole week of Big Brother within one hour.
In the Head of Household competition, Morgan Pope won and decided to nominate Soto and Domingue for eviction. Pope has been targeting Domingue the past few weeks and found her elimination would benefit her game. Soto was nominated because he is known to be a formidable comp beasts with plenty of wins under his belt so his elimination would be beneficial to the houseguests left in the game.
The Power of Veto competition was a quiz to test the houseguests' sight in a hidden object game. It came down to a nail-biting tiebreaker between Soto and Pope with Soto coming out with his fourth Veto win.
After securing his safety Soto came off the block and was replaced with houseguest Ava Pearl as a new nominee. Sealing Lauren's fate, two houseguests voted her out and sent her to the Jury House.
Jorgensen and Domingue, alongside five other Jury House members, will be seen on Sept. 28 for the Big Brother finale to vote for the winner of season 27.
Although Domingue did not make the final two chairs, she did have an impressive Big Brother resume with: four competition wins and a nine week streak of not being nominated.
